I don’t know about you, but sometimes I like adding an item to my to do list just so I can cross it off. Weird? Well, I feel like adding an item to my Corona Virus Bucket List and crossing it off. Yesterday, I learned to use the grill. Kenny walked me through the steps and I made steak tips and veggies for dinner last night. It was such a good meal and knowing that today was going to be another beautiful day I did it again tonight, and without any help. I’m not trying to brag on myself right now, but this is a big deal for me. I love a good bbq dinner, it means a night off of cooking for me and less dishes-but I have always been too scared to learn-thinking I would burn my face off. I’m glad to report that my face is still in tact, I let out only a few shrieks at some bigger flames, and I only burned one hot dog! The burgers were so good, two thumbs up from hubby(my grill master)! But the best part of the meal, the absolute best part… I have been giving Evan some cooking lessons the last ummm 23 days and tonight he made bacon all by himself and it was cooked to perfection! BOOM! My work here is done, my 10 year old can make bacon, what else do we need? My work here is done(mic drop).
