I did a thing this week. I looked at my January goals and decided to take action on one that was a goal for a great big portion of 2025. I even started this thing and walked away. Maybe I was scared of it, that I wouldn’t follow through, that I would get lazy, that I would fail, maybe all of the above. But this week, I looked at those goals and I picked this one, Launch Substack. And I did.

For those of you who don’t know what Substack is, I’ll tell you what it isn’t. It’s not a giant Italian sub, nor is it a double decker Oreo cookie with milk, though these are all good guesses (and actual guesses that were actually posed on my Facebook page), but I digress. Substack is another platform for me to put my writing out into the world. I’m still learning about it, but I’m very excited to be using it to share my poetry and eventually expand to sharing devotionals and short stories.
