It’s so hard to find family time now that our boys are teenagers, and I know that as the years continue to pass it will only become more difficult and our traditions will continue to change. I’m so thankful to God for his provision, in giving us His son Jesus as the most precious gift to us. Today I’m thankful for this simple time together to pick out our Christmas tree. It wasn’t too long ago, Christmas of 2020 to be exact that I walked through the Christmas tree lot alone and crying because half of my boys were quarantined upstairs while the other half were downstairs. I was devastated. All I wanted was for my family to be able to be together and healthy. That was a scary year, filled with so much uncertainty. Despite the circumstances though, God is good all of the time. Even if you are going through an uncertain time, a time of despair, a time of loneliness or are just struggling through this season. The Lord sees you and you are not alone.
