This week has been a wild one. But sometimes in all of the chaos we can find the calm. And in the chaos we can find joy. And in the chaos we can find peace. And when we can find all of these things despite the chaos, I think we can also find a strength to make it through the chaos, strength we weren’t sure we possessed.
It’s pretty cold here this week, like can’t feel my fingers but when they thaw out it will be painful kind of cold. But in the cold there is a beauty. The air feels crisp and clean. The sun has been shining brightly. The freshly fallen snow sparkles along the ground (don’t look at the yellow snow or the slush, that ruins it a bit). My favorite though, the picture that brings me so much joy, is snow covered trees. Be it Evergreens (oh so Hallmark) or branches and brush, the snow makes it all look so magical. Take a look today, if you are some place that has snow, but if you don’t, fear not, I have taken pictures for you!
If you are having a chaotic week, let me remind me (or let you know) that God is in control. He will never leave you or forsake you. His ways are higher than ours and He has a plan for your future. (Deuteronomy 31:8, Issaih 55:9, Jeremiah 29:11). Let’s look for the beauty, the joy, and the peace in this day.
