Spring. It is spring. Though it was a chilly morning, once I got in the sunshine, I felt more alive than I have in weeks. I thank God today for a new season, for the earth and its creatures awakening from a long winters nap, for the warmth of the sunshine on my face bringing all of my senses back from hibernation. I thank God for animals that are born in the spring, the flowers that bloom, and the vibrant colors that are even brighter in the light of the sun. I thank God for this season of new beginnings. With the sun on my face, I no longer felt the gloom and darkness of winter. I am rejuvenated and refreshed. I am ready for the spring. My daffodils are ready for the spring. My heart and my mind are ready for the spring. Are you ready for the spring?
