This morning I was blessed to wake up to no rain and a mild 55 degrees. Everyone was still asleep or back to sleep(Logan and pup) so I decided to seize the moment and go for a run before the day really began. You see, as of this past Friday, I am the only one in my family not in quarantine-fun right?

Friday turned into one of those days that went on forever and took an unexpected turn when Kenny tested positive for Covid and the rest of us tested negative. He is no stranger to taking up residence in the basement after his Covid exposure way back at the beginning of this crazy pandemic, even crazier to think that was almost two years ago in March 2020.

I am so glad I seized the moment and ran this morning-as self care is going to be extremely hard to come by for the foreseeable future. In fact I think a daily run will be clutch for me-to get out-to breathe-clear my brain-before I have to go back and do all of the things.

So this is where we are at right now… upstairs is me, 3 boys, 2 cats, 1 pup and downstairs is Kenny.
Kenny is doing well down there and hopes to break free Saturday. Christopher, Evan, and Logan are all due to test on Wednesday. Tonight we had some fevers going on-so while they should also be sprung free on Saturday-I have my doubts. But as I continue to care for my family-and at times feel overwhelmed-I know that I can rest easy knowing that God is in control and has a plan through all of this.
