Happy Friday! Today was a successful day of home school. We started out with spelling words and then moved on to a hands on math activity that was also great OT practice as well. We planned to go on a field trip this weekend so we used this opportunity to count and sort change and practice putting it into Coin wrappers. We each made a guess of how much we thought we would have once all of the change was on the table and then figured out how much more we would need if our guess was right. We were very excited to find out that we had $6 more than we needed-this was a successful and fun activity.

After that we headed back to our local state park where we learned all about earthworms, explored the woods, Caught fish and a turtle, and enjoyed the crisp fall air!
