It is the calm before the storm here. I wish I could say that we are all hunkered down but that’s just not the case, yet. Hubby and I have a race to run in the morning, more on that next time. It was a gorgeous day here, minus the windchill. The sky was the brightest blue, but the air, that air was biting and bitter cold, painful. The snow is predicted to roll in tomorrow, with an extra punch along the coast-that’s us, we are the coast. I’m ready to be hunkered down. I’m ready for the Pats game tomorrow afternoon with some yummy food (though I am not a football fan). I’m ready to sit under the covers with a book. I’m ready to tell my family it’s time to play a game together. I’m ready for the 5 of us to be under one roof. I’m ready to do a craft, a puzzle, watch a movie, write something, listen to music, maybe dance a little. I’m ready for the snow come what may. I’m ready. I’m ready for 0-24 inches. I’m ready for a long winter’s rest. I’m ready for the pause that this storm will bring. Ready or not, we can’t escape it, so let’s embrace it the best we can.
