Some days you’re tired. Some days you don’t look at your to do list. Some days you’re busy. Some days you just need to have grace with yourself because not every day is like that. Today I just did today. I just did what I absolutely needed to do and a few chores to bless others. Today I let a teenager sleep in and go un-rushed to school. Today I allowed time and space to talk and pray with my friend without looking at a clock. Even though I couldn’t cross a thing off of my to do list, I lived today simply and unrushed. It was a good day.

The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace. Numbers 6:24-26

Dear Jesus, thank you for this day. Thank you that in all of the upside down and unplanned that you showered me with blessings and peace. Lord please be with anyone reading this who may have had a day like me, but may be beating themselves up about it. Lord help us to remember the love you show us and help us to show it to others. Lord help me to never put my to do list above my relationships. In Jesus name, amen.
