Today was the first day of homeschool that I contemplated detention/expulsion. Thankfully we were able to pull it together and get some work done. It was also our cooking day. Evan did not like any of the Chinese food he prepared-while Logan and I were quite happy with it. The egg rolls were delish and there’s so much rice left over that I put two bags in the freezer. Back to the drawing board for different recipes-my kid is definitely happy in the kitchen. A couple high points for today(so I won’t focus on our crap morning) were that after 4 nights at the station, Kenny was home today, Christopher’s remote day was much better than last week, and we had a beautiful afternoon at the beach park with other home school friends.
I'm a fire wife to Kenny, mom to 3 active boys ages 10, 8, 6. I love Jesus, my family, reading, writing, bible study, working out, cooking and baking, watching movies, listening to music, walking on the beach, laughing with friends, and eating bacon.
