Quiet day around here-even with my 4 year old nephew running around. As this school year is winding down-there are still so many unknowns surrounding us for next school year. I would be lying if I said these thoughts didn’t cross my mind approximately 500 times a day as we wonder what the options could be and what the best thing for our kids will be based on options that don’t even exist yet. Someone please tell me I’m not alone!! The last 3 months have been a whirlwind of emotions at every turn. But right now-at this very moment in time- I can say that I am so thankful for all of the teachers for everything they have done to support their kids. They have gone above and beyond, especially given the fact that they left school on a Friday-not knowing they would not be back to collect items they would need to continue to teach from their homes for the remainder of the school year. I am thankful for the round the clock “office hours,” their creativity in keeping kids motivated, the phone calls, the support, even the pat on the back for mom, telling me that I’m doing a great job(honestly-that has been life giving and touching in more ways than you could ever know). I don’t know what the 2020-2021 school year will look like-but I do know this-our 2020 teachers will always hold a Very special place in our hearts.

Be well.
