Happy Sunday all. I’m so thankful that despite the tiredness that sleeping on the couch with my 8 year old in the midst of a 72 hour shift brings that today I could see my people through a God lens again. And things weren’t perfect-by late afternoon my people were getting cranky with each other, but it was gorgeous outside, we got a great walk in, played outside a bunch, did some gardening And picked a spot for a memory garden, Completed a nerf gun target, I even steamed the kitchen and rolled up the cord. All the stuff that didn’t get done yesterday, it was still here today-and I’m thankful that I made time to do it-but I’m most thankful that it didn’t take away from time well spent on relationships. I still got to walk with a friend, chat with my kids, have important conversations. That’s the stuff that matters.
