Happy Thursday readers. You have almost made it to the weekend, congratulations! I hope you all had a week overflowing with blessings and even if it didn’t feel like it, I just want you to know that whatever your week did look like and if there are hard things you are enduring right now, it won’t last forever. I started a journal recently of a way to list the simple joys and blessings in my life. So even if things are crappy at the moment it makes me look for things that are good, simple things that we normally take for granted. I’m loving this new habit I created for myself.

I just finished the walking of all of the dogs for the day and am about to walk my own dog, but I wanted to share with you my latest piece on Her View From Home. This piece brings a lot of transparency about how I am feeling in this stage of my life while my kids are growing up, my firefighter is working his dream job and then, there’s me. I’ve grown a lot since I wrote this and am learning and becoming who God designed me to be in this phase. This piece is about the growing pains of getting there. It was an easy story to write but I’m finding it is a harder story to share. But I share it in hopes that another woman out there might feel seen and know that she’s not going through this season alone. If it resonates with you at all or you know someone who you think needs to read it, please share. Thank you all and have an amazing rest of your day!
