Happy Friday friends. I hope you all enjoyed Thanksgiving, whether you spent it with family or not. I hope it was full of wonderful things, good food, and laughter. I know not everybody celebrates in a way that they choose but rather in a way that they either feel that they need to or to please family members, whatever the case may be, I hope you were able to count your blessings and remember the many wonderful things in your life.

I usually take the month of November to share daily gratitude’s. This year I decided that I would do it all in one blog. Even though the struggles in this life are real, there are so many things to be thankful for each day, and not just in the month of November. But November is a great time to re-focus our brains, our lives, and the words that come out of our mouths on thankfulness and gratitude.

November 2025 Gratitude’s

30. Technology. I’m grateful for technology and for all it allows me to do.

29. Heat and hot water. I think this is one I take for granted because it is just always here and I never have to think about it. But a hot shower feels fantastic on a dirty body or after not having hot water for a few days.

28. Electricity. Another one I take for granted until the power goes out and I realize all the things I can’t do.

27. Long walks. I’m thankful that my body works and allows me to move and to enjoy it.

26. Exercise. I’m thankful for the natural endorphin booster!

25. Memories. As my kids get older and not everyone is here with us today, I’m thankful for memories(and pictures too).

24. Music.

23. Sunrises and sunsets. I’m so thankful, especially where I live to be able to see not only the sunrise over the ocean but the awesome colors of the sun setting over the bay.

22. Fridge and cabinets full of food. A lot of us take this for granted because we haven’t been without. Let’s face it, where we are, even if “we have no food,” we have more than most.

21. Libraries and books. I love to read and I love the smell of books.

20. Clothing. Just like food, even when we say we have nothing to wear, we have more than most.

19. Fresh air and clean water.

18. Changing seasons. Even though I get seasonally affected, there is something beautiful about the changing of the seasons.

17. Our cars. I’m thankful that they get us to where we need to go.

16. Our beachside town. Like any other place, it has its quirks, but it is a beautiful place.

15. Our schools and teachers. I’m so thankful that my kids are getting a good education and that they like all of their teachers.

14. Our jobs. I’m thankful that we have jobs that we enjoy and that we are able to provide for our family for all that we need.

13. Writing. I’m thankful that God has given me this gift and I hope and pray that I can use it to glorify Him more in 2026.

12. Our pets and the joy, laughter, and snuggles they bring to our lives.

11. Our home. I’m thankful that we have a place to lay our heads each night and a place to wake up each day.

10. My childhood friends who knew me then and know me now(yikes!).

9. My grownup friends/my mom friends.

8. Our health. After a cancer diagnosis and surgery in 2025, I’m extra thankful for good health this year.

7. Our church family.

6. Our pastors that lead the church well.

5. Our extended family.

4. My family. I’m thankful for the people who live under this roof with me. My husband Kenny who sees the best and the worst of me. My teenagers, Christopher, Evan, and Logan and the gift of their lives.

3. Being a mom. I’m so thankful for this privilege and this gift. It is a blessing. The hardest and most important job I will ever have.

2. My marriage. I’m so thankful for my marriage, all of the parts of it. The ups and downs. The laughter and the tears. All that we have learned. How we have grown…

1. Most of all I am thankful for my salvation in Jesus Christ. Without him, all of this would be for nothing. He is good and faithful all of the time.
