The warmth of the sun on my face

and the long, long days.

That is what I prefer.

But sometimes after too many sunny days,

my fair skin needs a break

and my house needs some attention.

On those days, I prefer the rain.

Then again, if I could get snowed in

with the people I love most

and let all the troubles of the world

slip away while we cozy up together…

I prefer those days too.

I say give me the warmth, but not too hot.

I’ll take the rain, when it’s not too wet.

The snow is fine, long as it’s not too much.

What type of weather is my favorite?

I suppose it depends on the day.
