The other night, my youngest son and I put on the tv to watch The Voice. I think this is the first season we have watched from start to finish. The singers were fantastic, and the judges have our hearts, Reba, Michael Buble, Snoop Dogg, and Niall Horan.

I heard the youngest contestant, Max Chambers, age 14, same age as my son, was going to sing a song by Forest Frank, a Christian artist. To say we were captivated and blown away would be an understatement. Max Chambers delivered such a beautiful performance of the song, “Your Ways Better.” I’ve been playing it on YouTube for days, singing it in my head and out loud, and just thinking about it in general. Thank you Max Chambers for sharing your faith with the world. I hope this young man keeps shining the light of Christ through the gift of the voice God gave him.

Though this wasn’t a Christmas Carol or Hymn, what wonderful timing, to point to Christ, singing, “Your Ways Better,” during this Christmas season when so many have not only lost the meaning of the season, but for many, just don’t know that Jesus is the reason for the season.
