Life has been nothing short of busy lately. A seasoned mom asked me at church the other day how I was doing and my answer was, “I’m fine, but I never thought I’d be more busy with teenagers than I was with littles, no one ever warned me about this stage.” She gave me a hug and agreed that these are busy times.
Yesterday I spoke to one of my best friends, hundreds of miles away, and as I listened to what she is doing to pursue her dream and the dedication and discipline she is using to get to the next step, I reminded her that this is only a season. We lamented about how there just aren’t enough hours in the day. Truth is though, there are exactly enough hours in the day. Whatever doesn’t get done today, well I guess it wasn’t meant to get done, or time didn’t get used well. So I followed in her footsteps and set my alarm to go off before the sun, because this is what I am pursuing, this is what I am passionate about, this is the gift the Lord gave me and this might be the only moment today that I can share it with you all.
Below are links to my latest posts on herviewfomhome.com. I hope that you can read them and that if they strike a chord with you, remind you of what someone else is going through, or if you just enjoy them so much you’d like to share, please feel free to do so. My social media has been wonky lately and I’m definitely not getting the exposure that I’d like, so I’d love some help here on wordpress from my fellow word nerds. As always, thank you for reading!
