As this week draws to a close, I want to take a moment to thank God for protecting my Florida family during Hurricane Milton and also to ask everyone out there in blog land to pray for all of the people who suffered great loss during this catastrophic storm. Often times, as bystanders looking on from afar, we feel helpless, but we are never helpless when we send out prayers to our Heavenly Father.

Dear Jesus, thank you for protecting my family during Milton. Lord I lift up the state of Florida as they recover and rebuild. Please help them and give them strength. I pray you would strengthen the faith of those who believe and for those who do not believe, please speak to their hearts. I pray that neighbors would help neighbors. I pray that your light and love would shine in this devastating time. In Jesus name, Amen.
